The AI calendar that turns anything into events, tasks and contacts.
Most AI calendars rearrange time you have already typed in. This one gets it in for you — dump a whole week in one go, snap a photo, drop a PDF or forward an email, and it sorts out what is an event, what is a task, who is a new contact, and what you meant by “next Tuesday”.

“AI calendar” means two different things
Worth knowing before you pick one, because the two kinds of app solve opposite halves of the problem.
Autonomous scheduling
Hands the day over. It rearranges your calendar around tasks you have already entered — defending focus blocks, shifting things when a meeting lands, rebalancing the week without asking each time.

A full calendar that fills itself in
Gets the schedule in from wherever it already lives — voice, photos, PDFs, spreadsheets, email, WhatsApp and Telegram, any web page — and turns it into events, tasks, reminders and contacts. Then it helps you run the week: conflicts flagged, a time found that actually fits, a weekly outlook and review read back to you, availability you can share.

Smart Calendars AI
The real difference is control, not capability. Motion and Reclaim reshuffle your workday for you — that is their whole product, and they are good at it. We deliberately move nothing without asking: every event is shown to you before it is saved. What we do that they do not is get the schedule in from wherever it was trapped in the first place. Plenty of people end up using one of each.
Four ways a schedule gets in
Same idea every time: you provide the source — one item or twenty at once — the AI proposes events, tasks and contacts, you approve before anything is saved.
Photo & screenshot
A poster on a wall, a timetable on a whiteboard, a screenshot of a group chat. Point the camera or share the image and the dates come out structured.

Conference programmes, class schedules, rosters, syllabi. Multi-page and multi-column layouts are handled, including scanned pages that need OCR.

Forward a booking confirmation, a tournament schedule, or an invitation. Attendees, locations, booking codes and links are picked up along with the times.

Say it the way you would say it to a person — “dentist Wednesday half two, remind me the night before” — or paste a block of text and let it sort itself out.

The same four capture routes, running in the real app on iPhone and Mac.
Who this actually helps
Capture matters most when the schedule is written by somebody else and handed to you in a format your calendar cannot read.
Families
School letters, term dates, swimming lesson blocks, birthday invitations, the club WhatsApp group. It arrives as a photo or a PDF from someone else, and somebody in the house ends up retyping all of it. Capture it once and share the calendar with the people who need it.
Students
A syllabus PDF becomes lectures, labs, deadlines and exam dates in one pass. Timetables that change between semesters, seminar series announced by email, reading weeks buried in a course page — all of it lands in the same calendar as everything else.
ADHD & executive function
The hardest part of a calendar is not looking at it, it is the friction of putting things in. Removing the retyping step removes the moment where the appointment gets lost. You still review every event before it is saved, so nothing appears that you did not agree to.
Works with the calendar you already use
Nothing to migrate. Events are written into your existing calendars, not into a separate silo you have to check.
Reminders and tasks are supported alongside events, and anything can be exported as a standard ICS file or shared as a subscription link.
What costs money and what does not
Stated plainly, because the free tier is the actual product for most people.
Free
The whole calendar. Day, agenda and month views, drag-and-drop editing, colour-coded calendars, reminders, recurring events, 600+ subscribable calendar feeds, and sharing. No subscription, no trial timer.
Paid
The AI capture runs on credits, because every extraction costs us a model call. You get a monthly allowance for free; heavier users buy a pack or subscribe. Event attachments via iCloud are also part of the paid tier.
Frequently asked questions
The things people actually want to know before installing an AI calendar app.
Is there a free AI calendar app?
This one is free for the calendar itself — all views, reminders, recurring events, calendar feeds and sharing, with no subscription and no trial countdown. The AI capture runs on credits and you get a monthly allowance at no cost. You only pay if you extract a lot.
Does it work with Google Calendar?
Yes. Connect a Google account and events are created directly in the Google calendar you choose. Existing events stay where they are; nothing is migrated or copied into a separate system.
Does it work with Outlook and Apple Calendar?
Yes to both. Apple Calendar works through the calendars already set up on your device, and Microsoft Outlook connects as an account like Google does. You can write into whichever calendar you pick, per event.
What is the difference between this and Motion or Reclaim?
Motion and Reclaim are auto-schedulers — they take work you have already entered and rearrange your day around it. This is a capture tool: it turns a photo, PDF, email or voice note into events in the first place. Different halves of the problem, and they are not mutually exclusive.
Is there an AI calendar for ADHD?
This is one of the most common reasons people install it. The barrier is usually not reading the calendar, it is the friction of entering things — so removing the retyping step removes the moment an appointment gets dropped. Every event is still shown for approval first, so the calendar never fills with things you did not confirm.
Can students turn a syllabus or timetable into a calendar?
Yes. Upload the syllabus PDF or photograph the timetable and lectures, labs, assignment deadlines and exam dates come out as separate events. Term-to-term timetable changes can be re-imported the same way.
Can I create events from WhatsApp, Slack or Telegram messages?
Yes — screenshot the message or share the text, and the AI reads the date and time out of it the same way it reads a document. This is one of the more common uses in practice, because plans get made in chat far more often than in calendar invites.
Are there free open-source alternatives?
There are — several scripts and GitHub projects wire an LLM up to the Google Calendar API, and if you are comfortable running your own tooling they work. The trade-off is setup, your own API keys, no OCR pipeline for photos and scans, and no mobile app. Worth knowing about before you pay for anything.
What happens to my data?
Content you send for extraction is processed to produce the events and is not used to train models. The calendar itself lives in your existing Apple, Google or Microsoft account rather than on our servers.
Which platforms is it on?
iPhone, iPad and Mac, as a single Universal Purchase — buy or subscribe once and it works across all three. There is also a Safari extension and a web app for capturing from a desktop browser.
Stop retyping schedules other people wrote
The calendar is free. Try the capture on the next timetable, invitation or PDF that lands on you.
